As for your quilting journey.....enjoy it all. The most amazing thing about quilting is that there is a style for every mood, you could possibly be in. Do what you enjoy and enjoy what you do.Jo Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05622284091135049983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339518921686187194.post-4774404598883001302014-07-14T21:04:22.942-07:002014-07-14T21:04:22.942-07:00I like other peoples patterns to build skill and p...I like other peoples patterns to build skill and play with color, but I would like to develop more patterns of my own, and follow some more creative quilty endeavors. I've had this thought of taking bits and pieces of others paper pieced designs and 'frankensteining' them together to make new blocks. And yes frankenstein is a verb! :)Jan Briggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14718623227334640165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339518921686187194.post-58360839856738580662014-07-14T17:21:50.275-07:002014-07-14T17:21:50.275-07:00I totally feel that way. I I never finished the class content ie I never finished those quilts but learning how to paper piece was worthwhile because I've used the technique over and over in other projects that I've designed. It not intuitive, I don't think, paper piecing I mean, but it's valuable if you want to be able to accomplish certain technical objective with your quilting and can move your thinking/design/planning to the next levelAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339518921686187194.post-8584227443032192392014-07-13T10:50:10.350-07:002014-07-13T10:50:10.350-07:00Lol, I have the same problem and I actually run th...Lol, I have the same problem and I actually run the FAL ;o)Katy Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04374079358515448439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339518921686187194.post-75182747866803660982014-07-13T08:30:08.524-07:002014-07-13T08:30:08.524-07:00Lets Bee Social ! Love what you are working on with the paper piecing. I tried it once, but it is 'not my thing' where I am right now. What a perfect background fabric you have chosen for this design!Lorna McMahonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01911462547010295684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339518921686187194.post-29070486227158582552014-07-11T17:54:02.542-07:002014-07-11T17:54:02.542-07:00Thank you cauchy, the pleasure is mine. :)Thank you cauchy, the pleasure is mine. :)Jan Briggshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14718623227334640165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6339518921686187194.post-19147545526949803422014-07-11T06:13:09.635-07:002014-07-11T06:13:09.635-07:00*blushing*
